Never Thought I’d See The Day



Black Love. That is what I felt, when he first told me that he loves me. Who knew such thing exists at my very own doorstep. Black love is defined as The Obamas, The Carters, The Smiths. But never did I imagine it would be him standing in front of me. This strong, handsome, BLACK MAN.

Black Love. I remember telling myself that us, the millennial generation don’t mention our grandparents, parents, aunts and uncles and cousins who have strong black love as our relationship goals but instead we look to the internet world to grasp what we believe our relationship should look like.
