The Widow’s Photographs

Overflowing Ink

Staring into a bronze reflection

A ray of a silver lining was reborn

Reminiscing of the constants

As the variables float like rafts

Ribbons and badges decolorize

Glancing at still memories

Sharpen edges stir the mind

Gnawing and clawing at the drops

of paint rapture her soft heart

Fixated at the scenery from

an antique rocking chair

Cherishing the moments that

they created for a lifetime

Capturing the tenderness of

his hands melts away the pain
