Silent Spaces- Michael Erickson

Go Dog Go Café

I look into your eyes,
Seeing a secret want.
Like a book of wishes,
I read your every word.
The way you lean into me,
All the want in the world held between your lips.
Touch me with your skin,
Whisper in my ear all of it.
You’re tearing me apart,
Standing there in silence.

Michael is a husband, father, writer, poet, and aspiring author. He finds time to scribble down his thoughts in the dead of night, between ghosts and night owls. If you’d like to read more of his poetry follow the link here. Or to visit his full blog, ‘The Ink Owl’ click here.
